Wedding photo scavenger hunt list builder
Most scavenger hunt lists are written for a venue you don't have. Pick yours, and you get 15 to 25 prompts guests can actually complete there, plus the ones that were dropped and why.
How the list is filtered
- Every prompt has to be possible in your room: no lawn games in a ballroom, no skyline in a barn.
- Dance-floor prompts only if the hunt runs into the dancing. Late-night prompts only if it runs to the end. The getaway only if there is one.
- No drinking prompts when kids are playing. No rowdy prompts in a formal room.
- 15 prompts for an hour, up to 25 for the whole night. Past 25, guests stop reading.
- Open-ended prompts only: nothing that needs one specific guest found in the crowd.

Questions couples ask
- How many prompts should a wedding photo scavenger hunt have?
- About 15 for an hour-long hunt, rising to 25 if it runs all night. Past 25, guests stop reading the list.
- What makes a good wedding photo scavenger hunt prompt?
- It is possible at your venue, open-ended enough that anyone can complete it, and does not depend on finding one specific guest. Mix classics, candid moments, and love-story details.
- Are photo scavenger hunts OK with kids at the wedding?
- Yes, kids are often the best players. Drop prompts about drinking and add a few kid-specific ones, like the flower girl off duty.
- How do we collect the photos afterwards?
- Put a QR code on the table cards that opens a shared gallery in the browser, so guests upload straight from their phone without an app or account. Shared iCloud albums leave Android guests out.
